How do I set up geo-fence boundaries for my school?

Setting up geo-fence boundaries is done through your admin dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Geo-Fence Configuration
  2. Use the map tool to draw your school boundaries
  3. Set the radius (recommended: 100-500 meters)
  4. Save and test with a sample clock-in
  5. Adjust boundaries as needed based on test results

What happens if a staff member's phone loses GPS signal?

Our system uses multiple location methods:

  • Primary: GPS satellite positioning
  • Fallback: Wi-Fi network triangulation
  • Secondary: Cellular tower triangulation

If all location methods fail, the system will:

  1. Attempt to use the last known valid location
  2. Flag the attendance for manual review
  3. Send an alert to the administrator
  4. Allow manual override if authorized

How can I generate monthly attendance reports?

Monthly reports can be generated in several formats:

  • PDF Report: Professional format for official records
  • Excel Export: Raw data for further analysis
  • Dashboard View: Interactive charts and graphs

Steps to generate reports:

  1. Go to Reports > Monthly Attendance
  2. Select date range and user groups
  3. Choose report format
